Coming-of-age road-trip adventure filled with heart and humour sees a young boy travel across America in search of his father and himself
Take an unforgettable journey in What We Find On The Road, the award-winning coming-of-age comedy-drama starring Finn Haney (Where the Devil Roams), Paul Guilfoyle (L. A Confidential, Don’t Look Up), Ross Partridge (Stranger Things, Lamb) and William Chris Sumpter (The Midnight Club). From director Chaysen Beacham in his feature debut, this summertime tale of discovery makes its way onto UK digital on 18 November courtesy of Miracle Media.
On his 18th birthday, TJ (Haney) receives a surprise present—a vintage'68 convertible—from his estranged ex-con, rock-star father, whom he hasn’t seen since he was ten. But there’s a catch: TJ must now drive 3,000 miles across the country to find him.
At first TJ isn't sure if it's a blessing or a curse, but he decides to take the car and hit the road with his best friend Jake (Sumpter) for the ultimate journey. Along the way they meet quirky characters, experience life-changing moments and grapple with the uncertainty of what lies ahead.
Fuelled by humour, heart and a band of lovable misfits, TJ’s adventure proves that sometimes the longest road-trip is the fastest way to find where you truly belong.
A heartwarming reminder of the power of connection and the bonds that define us – you’ll find what you’re looking for in What We Find On The Road.
